With the holidays just a hop, skip and a jump away everyone is busy talking about what to serve for the holiday feasts, and for good reason, who doesn’t start dreaming of turkey and stuffing promptly at the start of November? Now, not to overshadow all that traditional goodness but if your family is like mine they make the journey to celebrate together but rarely do they stay only one day. This brings the dilemma of what to serve for the other days. For days after Thanksgiving there is of course the leftovers (LOVE) but what about the days before. You have a house to feed but who wants to do all that work when you know you’re gonna spend a day in the kitchen already this week?

This Balsamic Braised Beef couldn’t be simpler. A rich yet smooth flavor and only 5 minutes of prep time!


Recipe Author Robyn Stone – Add A Pinch

3 – 4 lbs of boneless beef roast
1 can of beef broth
1/2 cup high quality Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tbls Worcestershire
1 Tbls honey
1 Tbls soy sauce
1/2 ts crushed red pepper flakes
4 cloves garlic chopped

Place the beef in your crockpot. Combine all other ingredients. Pour over beef and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours. Using a fork pull apart beef and serve.
